Kazoku Isan Dojo Presents The 2025 Second Annual 100 Kata Challenge Fundraiser!! 

What is the 100 Kata challenge fundraiser?

It is an opportunity to help students and their families cover costly tournament entry fees, that may normally prevent students from competing in tournaments. while also supporting the martial arts by rewarding students for practicing their forms. Last year our students raised $2,357.75!!

How does the fundraiser work?

After a registering at the bottom of this page, Student’s from their respective schools will secure pledges for every kata they perform at the event. Up to 100 Kata! With all funding received in the manner, going to that student’s entry fees in tournaments of their choosing. Receiving payment from pledges at the completion of the event and the publication of results here on our Website and Social Media. Registered schools will receive all required paperwork and flyers to advertise and sign up pledges for the event. 

The day of the event all registered schools / instructors will check in along with their students. Instructors will receive kata tracking forms and will be responsible for keeping their students progress. Kata tracking forms will be turned in at the end of the event, at which time the students will be issued an appropriate certificate of completion based on how many kata they performed.

It is also worth noting that Kazoku Isan Dojo and its instructors do not financially benefit or collect other school donations. This is truly for the students and their families.

When is the event?

April 19th 2025, registration is 9am and runs 10am - 4pm. With a fall back date of April 26th in the event of a rain out.

Where will the event be held?

On the field at New Cumberland's Marsh Run Park. Located at 295 Marsh Run Rd, New Cumberland, PA 17070. This will be an outdoor event, so please plan accordingly
